Launch of Strategic Response Group Report: A Better City for All, 21st June 2012

The Report "A Better City for All" addressing substance misuse and perceived anti-social behaviour in Dublin City Centre, was launched by the Lord Mayor of Dublin Andrew Montague, on Friday 21st June, 2012.

Launch of NICDTF Prevention & Education "Parent Pack", 15th June 2012

NICDTF Prevention & Education group, chaired by Maureen O’Sullivan TD, launched a “Parent Pack” on the 15th June 2012. Peter Sheridan, playwright and director from Dublin’s North Inner City officially launched the pack. 

The “Parent Pack” will be distributed to parents of 5th and 6th class pupils, and it includes information about children’s health and well being, details of local services, information on positive parenting and supports for parents.

CAIS visit to North Inner City Drugs Projects, May 2012

On the 9th May 2012 (Europe Day) 10 representatives from CAIS Peer Mentoring project in North Wales spent the day in Dublin to visit a number of North Inner City Projects, including HOPE, SAOL, North West Inner City Training and Development Project, and Soilse.

An annual ceremony at the Home memorial at Buckingham Street/Killarney St, Dublin 1, to remember all those who have died from drug related causes. The stars on the tree represent the spirits of those departed.
