Saol is celebrating its 18th birthday on 16th October 2013.
This was the day that eight women bravely ventured forth into a new project - braver indeed when you realise they were choosing to work with Joan and Cathleen!
At 11am we will begin the open day with the launch of a piece of research examining the feedback of Saol participants about their experience of being in Saol - it was developed and conducted by a group of Saol particpants studying 'Research Methods' with Community Technical Aid.
Following this, activities and presentations will occur throughout the building, with the hub of activity expected in the kitchen, where food and beverages (non-alcoholic) will be served.
The open day will continue until 3pm, so we are encouraging people to come throughout the day rather than at 11am specifically. The research findings will be presented every hour, so you will not miss out!
If you have specific questions, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or phone us on PH. 01 8553391
Please bring service users/particpants with you - especially the women. If you want to bring a larger group, please let us know in advance, so we can keep a time-slot in the timetable for you
